Box started as a bet: that a journal with hard edges and no comment section could still feel personal. Everything here is written slowly, edited twice, and published only when it has earned its number.
The rules are simple — black ink on white paper, one stamp of red, and no decoration the grid didn’t ask for. No trackers, no pop-ups, no infinite feed. Just essays about the craft of building things, the rituals around the work, and the analog objects that keep it honest.
